Releases

Over the past four years Black Tiger Recordings has released some of the best trance music on vinyl to come out off a North American label. With artists spread across the world from countries such as the USA, Finland, Sweden, England, Serbia, and Canada producing and releasing tracks with us, our sound has emerged as being diverse yet grounded in danceability and mixabilty while remaining enjoyable to simply "just listen to". That is important to us because it means our artists have a broader appeal than just the "dance music" crowd typically associated with the trance and tech-trance scenes.

With 3 labels now active here at NKME Ltd., we are growing and further diversifying our sound while bring out artists from even more areas of the world, exposing them to the same extremely loyal fan base that has followed our DJs for so many years. This is also true of our mixed compilations from our DJs. Some of them going back almost a decade now in musical history as far as tracks featured in the play-lists, if not released by our DJs almost 10 years ago. These classic mixes still remain hugely popular and with each new mix we continue on the long standing tradition.

Indeed it is because of this that our DJs are considered some of the best when it comes to track diversity and programming not to mention mixing with a purpose. We never compromise on our track selections or the order of tracks and how they are mixed and people can hear the results as they come off the mixer. We don't edit, "fix" or mix our sets with CD players or computers. We use vinyl records from the best artists released by the best labels from around the world. Most of the time that means finding records from labels like us. Smaller, tighter and more reactive to the changes of what is really going on out there. Big names attract a lot of attention sure, but we stand by our DJs and their abilities to make just about any "name brand" DJ sound like a discount bin product in blind taste tests when compared to our stuff. That's a pretty bold claim to say the least, but you know what? Any time, any place there superstar DJ. We are waiting. So far very few (none really, and that's not from them not knowing about it either) "stars" have stepped up to the challenge.

Chicken? Yup, we thought so. Vinyl is still king and vinyl DJs still hands down destroy the digital minions and their masters of push-button slight of hand "djing". Enough said. Our sets speak volumes. They are the proof.
