Sounds like you are running a scam to me as well. First indicator was the price tag now that I think about it. I could do the same mods with EL wire myself and pick up the materials from a computer shop for less than 100 dollars for both decks.

Ordered in nov.2011 and now a year later NOTHING. You said you would refund back in Canada in July 2012. DJ’s. This guy is a complete rip-off artist. Not the only one he had scammed. Check out the serato forums. Apparently same lies and stalling. Check out his site and even has neg feedback on his forums. Google him under djmods scam and see if he is really a stand up character he proclaims.

I’ve ordered stuff from hongkong before for my turntable mods and upgrades to my TB303 / TR 606 and I’ve never had any issues, but this is a totally different guy and on the mainland. Go figure.. that really sucks you are out cash.
Please keep us posted on this, I don’t want to see more people burned by this if its a fly by night operation.
