Incolumis (AKA Jani Rantanen) is one of BTR’s most successful producers in the techno, ambient and trance scenes.
Hailing from Tampere, Finland, he has been active under many different persona’s since 2001 releasing his first 12″ EP with Black Tiger Recordings (BTR-003, At The Gates/North Stone) in early 2004 which has effectively sold out entirely from the catalog of the label. This release immediately hit across the world with serious impact gaining him playlist and DJ recognition from John ’00′ Flemming, Christopher Lawrence, Tiesto and Paul Oakenfold.
Later, Incolumis tracks and remixes would appear on Bonzai, JOOF Recordings, Zilence, Olympik Records, Gesture Music, Black Tiger Recordings (BTR-004, DJ Virgen “Eyes of Innocence” Incolumis Remix) and several other labels before he turned his attention to ambient productions.
Now in 2010, we eagerly await the appearance of his newest Incolumis EP “Heavy Machinery”.
